i think I am re living those ‘Bay City roller” days….I just love the whole checks, tartan and plaid trend this season, you will certainly see me wearing rather a lot of it.
But if you like it don’t fancy wearing it in large amounts then here are a few ideas of how you can inject this trend this season.
I blogged a couple of weeks ago about the Cape so I thought it only prudent to show you a checked one. This Arizona blanket cape is currently available in Superdry in the sale at £17.50. The colours are great and will team with other colours which as so popular this season.
I am so glad the tartan shirt is around as I have one from last year and it is super warm so I don’t need to buy another one!
The girls plaid shirt can be found in Hollister and comes in 6 different colorways so you can choose your favourite. Great sizes from XS to L.
A checked shirt can be worn casually or it would also look so nice with a pair of formal trousers and a trench or double breasted coat.
Making the checks more structured is the Mini check midi dress, this super little fit and flare dress is £180.00 and is one of the lovely dresses in Karen Millen this season.
This dress will look really nice with ankle boots, knee high boots & court shoe with either a blazer, channel style or wine coloured leather jacket.
OK, I’ve got 2 pairs of tartan trousers already as I love them. You can pop so many different style and coloured tops with any check trousers it makes them a very versatile garment for your wardrobe.
So many high street stores are showcasing them but I wanted to show you the Tartan Check peg trousers in Warehouse. Hurry if you like them as sizes are going fast.
And finally who would not want this Check city bag from Zara, this structured little bag is just £29.99.
Lots of love
