Superdry Press day

I have been the luckiest girl this week to go to two of my most favourite brands press days……Superdry and French Connection.

I am a huge fan of Superdry as I just love their wearability and great colours so you can imagine how I spent the morning with my mouth open looking around their new SS13 collections in their flagship Regent street store.

This was the view that hit me when I entered the showroom, mass of vibrant and neon coloured hoodies together with the great t.shirts which we all love for their sporty, preppy look.

How excited was I to see the yet to be launched Superdry beauty collection which includes a great range of premium cosmetics. I was lucky enough to receive the lip glaze in my goody bag and all I can say is the packaging is beautiful and the smell to die for. This collection is available from February 2013 and ranges from £2.00 to £20.00. In Superdry’s words it is ‘affordable luxury’

As you know Superdry already has a great selection of glasses available at Vision Express but they are now launching ‘Superdry Sun’ which is a range of sunglasses which I know you will love. The designs are a re-invention of classic styles and I can really see some of these being seen on the festival scene next summer. There are great neon colours for those of you who are a little dramatic and like to stand out in the crowd and the great tortoise shell for a more classic look.

The range will be available from February 2013 and range from £34.99 to £84.99

I fell in love with this little dress which was hanging all on its own. It really has a festival feel and I just adore the femininity. I saw many dresses from dip-dyed in contrast colours to neon pinks meet dusted blues. I can just see this dress in the summer teamed with a washed denim jacket or a cropped coloured cardi.

I would be a liar if I didnt say I love the snug feeling of a hoody and if you looked through my wardrobe you would certainly find a few!! But, this one is on my Christmas list for sure, a gorgeous pastel hoody with an embellised neckline which creates that wonderful feminine feel.

Knits will still be seen next season and I just loved how the lighweight knits are shown with neon fleck detail and minimal branding, choose the candy crew for the perfect summer knits. The one below would look stunning with a white vest underneath and team it with a either crisp white linens for a clean look or coloured jeans for a more striking look.

I wanted to show you how a thin lighweight cord will look fab druing the Spring/Summer months.  Just look at these beautiful pastel cords, imagine these with flip flops or wedges and a simple vest top. The women’s denim styles are updated with neon flashes and vintage style dressing. An acid palette is shown across super-skinny, straight leg and cut off styles.

I was given a goody bag as I left and only looked in it when I was sat on the train on my way home. To my delight I found this lovely turquoise box which when opened was NEON the first female fragrance collection from the hero brand Superdry. The NEON blue was incredibly feminine with a vibrant floral heart. As I’m writing this I keep getting a wonderful waft of this lovely smell past my nose.

So, to end what I would like to say is please do pop into any Superdry store when you see one, take in the colours, feel the soft fabric and treat yourself to a piece of this lovely brand.

lots of love
