Keeping warm with a scarf!

Scarf’s are again such a popular item to have in any cupboard, draw or wardrobe this season.

For me, the scarf not only keeps you warm but adds colour, texture & print to any outfit, they can break up block colours and just create interest to any outfit.

I have selected a few scarves from the high street to show you, firstly the Blue colour block faux fur tippet from River Island which I think is fab, 2 tones of blue ( navy and cobalt blue ) which adds 2 colours and the faux fur adds the texture. Add this to a grey knit with just a pair of indigo or grey jeans.

For those who love a bit of Burberry without the price tag I found this scarf in House of Fraser and it is so similar to the top end brand. This is the Linea Exploded Check cash mink scarf and is special offer for £20.00.

This scarf will look great with a black or red dress as the wool look softens the outfit. Or add it to a red knit with a pair of coated black trousers and a biker leather jacket.

More texture is coming your way with this Chunky space dye pom scarf  from White Stuff. What I really love about this scarf is the amount of colours within the wool. There is pink, red, orange, teal, green and yellow which makes this scarf so versatile and the pom pom’s just add the fun element.

Leopard print can be quite scary for many so rather than wearing it as a top, skirt or trousers why not add it in in the form of a scarf. The leopard print adds in a super print to any block colour. This scarf will look amazing with navy, price,a denim shirt, khaki silk shirt or a cream aaron style knit. Whoa, the outfit choices are endless!

This specific lightweight scarf is from Asos.

Scarves can really add additional colours which is why I am really find of the scarf available in Joules. I have to say i saw this scarf in John Lewis when I was walking through with a client, the soft pink, grey & white colours with the frayed hem made me want to buy it!

Again, this scarf adds in more than 1 colour to any outfit.

And finally the checked scarf cape from Ted Baker made me think luxury and cosiness. This item is perfect when you want a little it of warmth when you don’t fancy a coat but it adds soft tones which just says chic and stunning.

Which one is your favourite?

Lots of love
