High Street Style Picks

I popped to my local high street today to actually pick up a foundation as I’d run out!!

Whilst I was there I couldn’t resist having a wander round the stores to see new collections that I knew they would be showcasing.There are some amazing pieces currently in store, some you will love and some that may see you turn your nose up at ( I did do that today I have to say! )

Here are my top 5 items;

Stunning, pretty flared gingham skirt currently available in H & M and just £29.99. As there are so many different coloured flowers within the print there are so many colour tops that can work with this skirt.

The white lace back cardigan was so popular in New Look, it is brilliant to see it again this season. Just £19.99 it is a great addition to any wardrobe. The lace back just adds the femininity and interest.

This is the Cross back jumpsuit in Cerise Pink and available in Warehouse, at just £59.00 this would be super for any occasion as well as a daytime look.

Warehouse have said ‘When your front needs a break, put your back into it. A cross back jumpsuit for when you just don’t feel like a dress’

Now, this dress actually made me stop in my tracks when I was in Oasis. This is the Wild Peony draped dress and at £38.00 is a bargain in my eyes. The colour is stunning and the draped detail around the waist is perfect for any lady who carries weight around the tummy or for any of us not wanting that feeling of holding our tummy in all day!

And finally, this embroidered jacket I found in Zara, at £49.99 I think it will become cost effective as due to the amount of colours and extra special detailing can be worn with so many different items that are in your wardrobe.

I do admit this jacket is not for the faint hearted but imagine it with light washed jeans and a white t.shirt and yellow ruled shoes.

Lots of love
