Great Plains had their press day last week and I was very lucky to pop along. What I really loved about the SS13 collection from Great Plains was the colours, prints and fabulous use of quirky florals. What really stood out for me was the quality of the fabric and for those of you that know me well I just love those touchy, feely garments that will feel great against the skin.
I just loved this 50’s style inspired dress and the amazing paisley print. How gorgeous will this look in the summer months with the sun shining down on it, you could also wear this over a pair of simple linen trousers.
The collection also has the nautical feel, super lightweight denims and a lovely mixture of red, white and blue colours. In this great collection are also the most amazing maxi dresses, rope-print dresses, fishermans jumpers and striped tees.
I fell in love with this super little cardi with the bicycle print. The knits still remain very feminine and will look lovely in the Spring or Summer as a simple cover up over a tee or a sleeveless dress for those of you who like to cover up the upper arm.
The colour palette in this collection and pretty floral prints was gorgeous and I can so see many women wearing these items. The collection consists of dresses, jackets, loose knits, skirts, jeans, maxi dresses and so much more. You will see some of the colours are of a base neutral tone making them very easy to be worn with other items in your exisiting wardrobe
I, for one am really looking forward to seeing the new season Spring/Summer collections in our stores in the New Year.
Lots of love
