It’s the time of year when the days start darker, the skies are more grey than blue and it’s dark by 4.30pm but there is no need for your wardrobe to be dull and flat in tone.
There is so much colour in the high street this season your winter wardrobe can be as colourful as your summer wardrobe, here are a few of my favourites;
Lots of faux fur around this season and so many different colours, this gorgeous coat is from New Look and it does come in other colours if this is not your favourite.
A coloured coat will give you instant colour to any outfit.
Love this Lizzie print shirt dress currently available in Monsoon and its in their sale for £48.75. A prints a great way to add 2 or more colours.
There is so many rainbow knits around this season, but I do rather like the Pink rainbow striped knit from NEXT. It does run with a glitter thread too. Can you just imagine how many ‘bottoms’ you could wear with this knit?
I wanted to put the knit with these fabulous slim leg cobalt blue trousers from Oasis. They are high waisted and side fastening. Again, in the sale at a great price of £28.00. If your brave enough this colour looks stunning with cerise pink or a vibrant purple if you want to go all out colour.
I’ve added in a wine coloured soldier block heeled boot this outfit to keep colour as a theme but made sure it tones with the other colours. Shoes and boots do not have to be black!
These boots can be found in Kurt Geiger and have been reduced to £109.00 from £179.00.
Please do think of these items as an outfit but also how they can be deconstructed and made into other outfits.
Lots of love
