The Shoe Dilemma!

As many of you know I do love a good chat! But by chatting I have met so many lovely people and I have also managed to understand what ladies find easy and more difficult when shopping!

The dliemma at the moment is what shoes to wear with one of our latest trends the cropped trouser. These cotton crop trousers are currently available in Mango and have an inside leg measurement of 27.52 inches which for someone who is petite in height work beautifully as now sit where they are suppose to sit without the need for an alternation but for those any taller can prove an issue with footwear.

So, I wanted to show you a few of my ‘shoe’ recommendations which work beautifully with the crop trousers

A stretch sock boot will look great as will fit the ankle and lower leg and fit nicely under the hem of the trouser. This is the OSLOWH stretch ankle boot in Taupe in Dune.

A ballet flat will always work as will make the ankle appear narrow from the hem of the trouser to the top of the instep where the toe area begins. I think shoes can be a real statement piece so for this ballet pump I have chosen the Leopard Pony effect ones in Office.

You can also dress this style of trouser completely down with a trainer. This is the Legacy Silver low top trainer by Cavela Kurt Geiger

And of course you can then change what you wear on the upper body to compliment the look.

These trousers can be dressed up with a slingback for a more formal look but still perfect for the Spring / Summer season. This is the combined mid heel leather slingback which has just arrived in Zara.

As shoe with a nice way of integrating a new colour and fabric.

Or you could also add in a loafer for a more preppy look. Marks and Spencer have had a super selection of shoes the season. This is the tassel loafer in patent wine and available in sizes 3 – 8

And lastly for an evening look you can add a heel to elongate the leg. I’ve just found the Black Diamante Ankle strap heel in New Look which I rather liked for the detailing on the ankle strap.

Hopefully, you can see that the list is endless the types of shoes that will go with the crop trouser this season…. as always choose your shoe to reflect your personality & lifestyle.

Lots of love
