I love the start of each new season, it’s such a great time to see new colours, styles and trends in the stores.
What better way to see lots of brands but in a department stores that carries lots of concessions. So, on Friday I popped into John Lewis, armed with my camera to take a few shots of the new collections.
Seasalt, a casual brand that this season sees bright yellow and green mixed with autumnal coloured prints and teal
I know jeans are one of the hardest items to find the perfect pair to suit your body shape so having a selection of brands all under one roof really helps you try on so many different styles.
O’h one of my favourite brands, Somerset by Alice Temperley. This brands combines vintage with a slight quirky approach and it really will not break the budget. Lots of cream, black and power blue and a stunning print with powder blue and chestnut mixed.
Reiss, this season we are seeing corals, reds, mink and creams which sit beautifully on their own or together.
Red, black and black & white prints are prominant in Hobbs for Spring/Summer. Be brave and try red, it is a colour everyone seems frightened of but please do try as it adds so much colour to any outfit. Shift dresses and quilted jackets are seen for the turn of the season.
Now, brights in Ralph Lauren were in abundance in John Lewis this season, this collection really set the store alive with colour. Stunning knits mixed with peg leg trousers, silk shirts really stole the show for me.
And finally, White Stuff, the high street brand loved by so many for it’s comfy fabric and easy to wear styles.
For the new season you can see lots of colour and print…..mustard, acid green, pinks, navys and chestnut.
Lots of lovely collections for you to see, I hope you found a favourite, I know I did!!!
Lots of love
