Lisa Talbot was absolutely great for me. I'm a working mum of three and so don't have the time to spend days browsing for the right outfits. I also feel a bit lost when it comes to all the choices and know that I frequently make the wrong choice and end up having to return items which is yet another trip into town and more wasted time.
The session with Lisa was invaluable. The seasons were changing and my professional work clothes were keeping me inappropriately warm. I usually hate shopping and felt that I couldn't bear the whole business of selecting clothes which could be worn for work, which suited me and which were reasonably priced. Lisa took all that strain away.
We started the morning with coffee, and chatted about my lifestyle, professional, clothing needs etc and what was needed from the morning's session. As we chatted, Lisa also spoke with me about my body shape, about the styles which would work and those which wouldn't and before we even started shopping, I felt better equipped to choose clothing which would suit me.
Lisa's knowledge of the current clothing trends, what each shop stocked and even where the emptier changing rooms meant that we were able to race through the mall, making fabulous purchases as we went.
By the end of 3 hours, we had purchased: 3 skirts (Wallis, John Lewis and H&M), coordinated tops (Phase 8, Debenhams and H&M), two smart cardigans (H&M and New Look), elegant but smart sandals (Gabor) and jewellery to complement. The skirts were interchangeable with any of the tops or cardigans making this an instant 'capsule' wardrobe. The sandals go with everything and the jewellery polishes it all off.
Lisa had also helped me keep to budget very successfully by encouraging a greater outlay for the key items and cutting back in other areas with some very reasonably priced H&M and New Look purchases.
I could not have put together such a stylish wardrobe, which works so well for me personally even if given 3 months to shop, and yet Lisa achieved this in 3 hours.
The help and advice offered by Lisa doesn't stop at the end of the
trip however. Once home, I realised I needed further fashion advice.
An email to Lisa and I received her personal suggestions, again, taking into consideration, my body shape and work needs.
I would recommend this lovely lady to anyone lacking confidence in the shopping malls, looking for fashion advice, or simply someone who doesn't have time to spend days browsing. AA April 2011

I REALLY enjoyed myself last Friday, thank you very much. I popped into a couple of shops today and didn't waste my time (or money!) on anything with large print or the wrong neckline! The session has really helped to clarify what I should - and shouldn't - be wearing and I think my 'wardrobe issues' are well on the way to being resolved! KB Feb 2011

Your advice has opened up a whole new world! I know now what suits my shape (won’t be drowning myself in long tunics anymore!) and won’t feel overwhelmed when I go shopping as I will only be looking at what suits me, not everything!
My husband is happy that my bottom has finally come out of hiding! I feel far more confident and comfortable and can’t wait to go shopping again..in fact I’m off again tonight! JH Sept 2010
